General Director of Kazakhmys Smelting Zhanibek Baigabelov completed a commission inspection of the condition of the sanitary facilities of the Zhezkazgan and Balkhash Copper Smelters.
During the inspection, all canteens, first-aid posts, locker rooms, business trips, showers and toilets of both plants were visited. The most critical places and an overall assessment of the state of the sanitary-consumer rooms were identified.
This year we plan to carry out 4 overhauls of showers and locker rooms at Zhezkazgan Copper Smelter and 5 at Balkhash Copper Smelter, overhaul of the 66th canteen of Zhezkazgan Copper Smelter and the Kazkat Plant. As well as the construction of a new canteen at Sulfuric Acid Plant of Balkhash Copper Smelter and the start of construction of a new canteen at Zhezkazgan Copper Smelter, which we plan to open in 2024.
