The Kazakhmys Smelting team took part in the 16th International Industrial Exhibition INNOPROM 2026, held in Yekaterinburg, Russian Federation. Recognized as one of the world's leading industrial platforms, the exhibition brings together representatives of industry, business, and government to promote industrial cooperation, technological innovation, and international partnerships.

This year, INNOPROM 2026 welcomed participants from more than 50 countries, brought together nearly 900 companies, and hosted over 100 business events focused on industrial development, digital transformation, innovation, and global cooperation.

Throughout the exhibition, the Kazakhmys corporate stand served as a venue for meetings with equipment manufacturers, industrial enterprises, potential business partners, and industry experts. Discussions focused on production modernization, advanced technologies, and opportunities for long-term international cooperation.

The exhibition was attended by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Olzhas Bektenov, who spoke at the plenary session titled "Industry 360: Drivers of International Cooperation." In his address, he emphasized the importance of expanding industrial cooperation, implementing advanced technologies, modernizing manufacturing facilities, and strengthening international partnerships.

The event also brought together representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Akimat of the Karaganda Region, executives of leading international industrial companies, and prominent industry experts.

The second day of the exhibition focused on building new international partnerships and expanding business cooperation. The Republic of Indonesia, the partner country of INNOPROM 2026, presented a national pavilion featuring more than 50 companies showcasing innovative solutions in metallurgy, mechanical engineering, the chemical industry, and other manufacturing sectors.

The official Indonesian delegation visited Kazakhstan's national pavilion and explored the Kazakhmys exhibition. During the meeting, the parties discussed the company's production capabilities, ongoing innovation projects, and prospects for future international collaboration.

Visitors to Kazakhstan's national pavilion also enjoyed a cultural program that highlighted the country's rich heritage. Guests were welcomed by an orchestra performing traditional Kazakh music on national instruments, creating a memorable cultural experience for international participants.
