With the support of Kazakhmys Smelting, the I International Boxing Tournament among youths was held, dedicated to the memory of the honorary sports worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the first President of the Balkhash Boxing Federation, Master of Sports of the USSR Makanalin Tleugerei. ⠀
Besides each region of Kazakhstan, more than 120 athletes from Armenia, China, Mongolia, Russia, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan took part in the competition. ⠀
According to the results of the tournament, Krik Yeraly from Balkash, who competed in the 54 kg weight category, became the champion. The youth team of Kazakhstan won in the team event. ⠀
