For the first time in recent years, an offsite meeting of the Central Committee for Industrial Safety and Labor Protection was held at the site of the Balkhash Copper Smelter of Kazakhmys Smelting.
The committee meeting was chaired by Andrey Gaydin, First Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of Kazakhmys Holding. Members of the Committee, heads of enterprises and services of the Holding visited workshops of Balkhash Copper Smelter, got acquainted with the production processes of the plant.
The meeting discussed the issues of budgeting measures aimed at improving the security of all branches of the Company, and decisions were made to further ensure the security of our employees.
