Chairman of the Board of Kazakhmys Corporation LLP Nurakhmet Nuriyev introduced the new head of Kazakhmys Smelting LLP. He became Zhanibek Baigabelov.
Zhanibek Baigabelov is an experienced leader, for many years he has been the Head of the Karaganda Foundry-Engineering Plant of Maker LLP.
In 2008, he completed his Master’s degree in the UK under the Bolashak program.
During his professional activities he was working at large enterprises of the country:
— 15 years of experience in ERG Group companies;
— in 2016 he was appointed Vice President for Maintenance and Repair of SSGPO JSC;
— in 2019 he became the Chairman of the Board of the Karaganda Foundry-Engineering Plant .
Zhanibek Baigabelov is the Chairman of the Mechanical Engineering Committee of NPP "Atameken".
He has a title "Honorary Machine Builder of the Republic of Kazakhstan".
